David Beckham is currently recovering in the hospital after undergoing surgery to address a long-standing wrist injury. His wife, Victoria Beckham, shared a snapshot of his recovery with fans.
On Friday, Victoria Beckham posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing the football icon in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and with his arm supported by a blue sling.
Captioning the photo “Get well soon daddy” with a heart emoji, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer showed her support for her husband. He originally sustained the injury in 2003 during an England match.
While specific medical details were not disclosed, the injury is likely connected to the wrist problem he has dealt with since his playing career. Despite the discomfort, Beckham appeared to be in good spirits, offering a gentle smile to the camera as he recovers from the surgery.
Victoria also shared another touching image of David holding a friendship bracelet that read "Get well soon" in colorful beads – presumably a thoughtful gift from one of their four children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, or Harper.
The hospital update comes shortly after the announcement that Beckham will be knighted by King Charles, officially becoming “Sir David Beckham.” Victoria celebrated the news on Instagram, stating, “You’ve always been my knight in shining armor, but now it’s official.”
The couple also recently celebrated Father’s Day, with Victoria sharing throwback videos and photos of David with their children, calling him “the best daddy there is.”
Married since 1999, David and Victoria Beckham continue to demonstrate that family remains a priority in their lives, even during unexpected hospital visits.
